Learn how to light two people for an interview or dialogue scene with cross key lighting. This is also called reverse key lighting, upstage lighting, short side lighting, and probably a few other names too…We used the new Fujifilm X-T4 to film this lowlight video. This is one of the most effective ways to light an interview with 2 people on camera because it only requires two lights. Each light is used as both a hair light and a key light for the other subject. By using a boom pole stands or a grid system, you can easily hide the lights to get over the shoulder shots and coverage.
