The final stage in the process: post-production. My Camera Gear- http://geni.us/jordankit You’ve come this far from the initial script to shooting the commercial, and now it’s time for you and the client to piece it together. In the best case scenario, the client knows what they want and you chop up the commercial in under three cuts. In the worst case scenario, the client has NO IDEA what they want and the project gets nearly scrapped and sent through cut after cut after cut… Once the final cut has been submitted then it’s time for distribution or what I call in this field: execution. Is this video going to Facebook? Youtube? Company website? HOW IS IT BEING DISTRIBUTED?!? All of that hard work can go down the drain fast if the execution of the campaign is dogsh*t. The filmmaking process is complex but at the heart of it simple: tell a compelling story. What resonates the hardest is visual storytelling. The ability to create an emotion or convey an idea through an image is what drives my career as a filmmaker. My marathon mentality is focused on becoming the best cinematographer possible.
